Taoism is an ancient philosophy originated from China, and has been influenced by religions, spiritism, traditions and customs. When Lao-Tzi first wrote the Dao-De-Jing, he started the philosophy of being in harmony with the nature and hinted at how a mere mortal can be at one with the nature. Since then, Taoism took on the study of I-Ching, and the application of Yin-Yang, Five Element theory to describe the way of nature. As Taoists tried to understand nature better, they ingested variety of fruits, leaves, bark, roots etc to see their effect on the human health. They were also the first chemists as they mixed different ingredients to make the "forever young" tablets. But, in so doing, they discovered the ability to become clairvoyant, and project astrally. Many experienced Taoists can diagnose illness using extra sense perception, and can offer healling energy, paper or water spells, fengshui arrangement, etc, for the restoration of health and goodness to others.
This short introductory course will explore the different parts of Taoism, such as the I-Ching, the Taoist philosophy, and the view of life, souls, and nature, what a taoist must practise, what is the Qi-energy and how one can harvest it, why a taoist believes he is the master of his destiny, his soul, and why he must serve the people to complete the training, etc. Learn from these views of Taoism and see how much of it can benefit your view of the nature.
